D.C.'s first-ever contemporary Christian music festival boasts names that include six-time Grammy award winner and icon Amy Grant; Grammy-nominated new artist Francesca Battistelli; double-platinum record group MercyMe; and Jeremy Camp, who has had 17 No. 1 hit songs.
They were chosen based on their playtime popularity on contemporary Christian music station WGTS 91.9 in Washington.
The seven-hour festival, which will begin at 3 p.m. at the Patriot Center, will also feature performances by John Waller, Building 429 and Jonny Diaz. They will each play for 35 minutes, as will Francesca Battistelli.
Following those performances will be Jeremy Camp, who will play for an hour. Amy Grant who will also play for an hour, and the concert will conclude with MercyMe who will play for an hour and 15 minutes.
Between sets, audiences will have a chance to meet the performers, as well as stop by food and souvenir vendors, which will be set up around the concourse.
