Chaos on Wheels began in 1995 as owner/rider, Jeremiah Anderson, began
performing bicycle stunt shows to promote his clothing and bike shop.
From those shows, he realized a need for positive role models and began
using his love for BMX to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with audiences.
From 1995 to 2000, Chaos on Wheels was based in Elmore, MN, where they
opened an outdoor ramp park which served as a training facility for
the riders. During that time, Chaos on Wheels traveled throughout Minnesota,
Iowa, South Dakota and Wisconsin, making a total of 30 stops.
In the fall of 2000, the action sports team relocated to Manly, IA. Before
moving to Manly, IA, Jeremiah Anderson, owner, began working with Youth
for Christ in Albert Lea, MN. There he began an extreme sports ministry
encompassing BMX/freestyle, skateboarding and inline skating. This ministry
was the first opportunity for Chaos on Wheels to build ramps for outside
parties. Because of that experience they began promoting the ramp design
and construction division in late 2001. By spring of 2002, they had
a number of interested parties and built their first ramp park in Cedar
Falls, IA.
In 2004, Jeremiah felt the calling to concentrate on Chaos on Wheels
as an action sports ministry. We partnered with Vertical Ministries, The Freedom Experience,
the Palau Association, and various extreme sports venues. Now God has us on the road traveling all
over the United States.
The Chaos on Wheels team consists of 6 core riders with diverse backgrounds
from old school flatland and technical ramp riding to the new generation
of dirt and street riding. Each rider having their own personal riding
style brings a fresh new show to every event. Currently the team consists
of Jeremiah Anderson, Mat Anderson, AJ Haines, Lucas Hastay, Don Johnson,
Lucas Lange, Travis McCray, Tim Oliver, Jay Schlie, Frank Stewart and
Mike Ward.
